Origin of haversack In historic Germany the word ‘hafersack’, meant oat sack. This was a small sack to carry horse fodder. It was a long, narrow bag that had a strap at the top and bottom, which was worn across the body from shoulder to hip. This is my own adaptation of Kid Icarus from the Nintendo games. I merged my own sky gnomes with the garuda-blooded to create this amalgamation. We had a good day yesterday. Instead of having the Thanksgiving meal at our house, we went to a friends that invites anyone without family near to an Orphan Thanksgiving Potluck.
